George Wesolowski is a seasoned Microsoft technologist, consultant, technical architect, manager, developer, mentor, educator, and thought leader currently residing in the Boston area. He has fifteen years experience in the IT industry. For the past eight years, George has consulted for both Fortune 500 and privately-held firms. His
primary focus has been on applying the latest Microsoft technologies to solve business problems related to the information worker, mostly in the financial services arena.
George's current area of expertise involves migrating systems developed in legacy COM-based technology to the .NET Framework using the latest wave of Microsoft tools including Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005.
George also has five years of academic experience at Boston University's Metropolitan College. He has taught graduate-level courses in Windows programming and C++ programming, and is currently a regular instructor for the core prerequisite programming course for Master of Science in
Computer Science candidates.
George has been a Microsoft Certified Professional since 1997 and currently holds Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certifications in both the VB6 and .NET platforms. He also holds Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
certifications.
George has authored articles on numerous Microsoft technologies. He also co-authored Developing Applications with Exchange 2000, A Programmers
Guide, a book devoted to Microsoft Exchange and Outlook programming.
George holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University.
